The following resources can help educators assess student learning through the use of technology. We have separated the assessment tools into two categories: academic and behavioral. The assessment tools for academic knowledge and skills provide immediate feedback to the teacher, and have the ability to share performance data to students as well. Most of these tools can be used to conduct both formative and summative assessments. The increasing emphasis on data-driven instruction makes these tools particularly well suited for educators looking for tools that enable them to collect data on student performance in engaging and effective ways.
